What is World of Warcraft?

World of Warcraft is an online role-playing experience set in the award-winning Warcraft universe. Gamsters adopt the roles of Warcraft heroes as they explore, adventure, and quest across a ginormous world. World of Warcraft is a “Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game” (MMORPG).

As a MMORPG, World of Warcraft enables thousands of gamers to come together online and interact and battle against each other and the world. In World of Warcraft, players from across the globe can leave the real world behind and adventure together or fight against each other in epic battles in an enormous, persistent game world, forming friendships, forging alliances, slaying monsters, competing with enemies for power and glory.
